As 2025 drew to a close, Sumatra faced one of its most severe natural disasters: Cyclone Senyar unleashed torrential rains, floods, and landslides, affecting over 3 million people and claiming hundreds of lives across northern provinces. At N.A.V.A.L. Group, we couldn’t stand by—we mobilized quickly to support our fellow Indonesians through a targeted CSR donation drive.
Partnering with organizations like PT Krishna Sukses Abadi , PT Sumber Banyu Biru and Bright Little Stars School we collected essential supplies including food staples, hygiene kits, and rebuilding materials. Our team loaded trucks with boxes of instant noodles, rice, and other necessities, delivering them directly to hard-hit areas like Aceh Timur and Banda Aceh.
The photo from our distribution event captures the spirit: our staff proudly holding a banner amid stacks of aid, symbolizing unity in the face of adversity. This initiative isn’t just about immediate relief—it’s rooted in our commitment to sustainable forestry. Floods exacerbate deforestation risks, and by aiding recovery, we’re helping preserve the pine ecosystems we depend on. Local farmers, many of whom we collaborate with, were among those affected, so this was a way to give back to the heart of our supply chain.
Looking ahead, N.A.V.A.L. pledges ongoing support for disaster-prone regions. If your organization shares our values, join us in future efforts. Contact us to learn how we can collaborate on sustainable initiatives.

“Naval Group proudly hands over humanitarian aid to the people of East Aceh Regency affected by the floods.
The aid is symbolically received by the Regent of East Aceh, Mr. Iskandar Usman Al-Farlaky, S.H.I., M.Si, in a ceremony held in December 2025.
Thank you to the East Aceh Regional Government for the continued partnership and trust. Together we stand with the flood-affected communities.
